Dear Renee,

I got most of the slides developed, most of them turned out pretty good, some of them didn't even turn out at all.  I'll bring them with me in October and you'll see them all.

Yesterday I got an offer to trade my tape player for a T.V. and $20.  The T.V. is about 2 years old and works pretty good, the $20 would go down for a turntable which I could play through my radio.  So if I make this trade I'll have a radio, stereo, record player, and a T.V. I'm planning to keep my tapes, because someday I'm going to buy a stereo cassette tape player which is portable, so we can listen to it in the car or anyplace we want to.

I got my motorcycle fixed up and now I am planning to sell it so I can pay off my loan at the Credit Union. If at all possible I'd like to get married without owing any bills.  If I do pay off my loan it'll make an extra $50 a month for us to live on.

That's about all that's been happening around here, not very exciting since you left.

I guess I better do my washing now, so until next time.

I love you and miss you,

Mark
