Dear Renee,

I just mailed you a letter saying that I might not be able to send you any money, but I got all my back pay this time so I'm sending you this check for $100.  I'm up in Vermont again this weekend, so I had my father write you a check and I gave him the money for it.  I am going to keep the rest because I've got to pay a few bills and buy myself a few things before we ship out on June 8th for the North Atlantic.  I'll be glad when we do ship out at least we will be out of New York.

Well, I don't have much else to say, I wrote it all in my letter Yesterday, and I'm going to call you tonight.

Until later, remember I Love and Miss you very much.

I Love You,

Mark

P.S. Don't cash check until Tuesday
